CINEMATOGRAPHER . DIRECTOR
Sin grew up as the child of Korean immigrant workers in Germany. While studying architecture and visual arts at the College of Fine Arts in Hamburg he discovered his love for cinematic images and lighting. The dream of being a cinematographer lead him to the Hamburg Media School, where he finished his studies in Cinematography with a Masters Degree. His thesis film „Raju“, was well received, earning several Awards worldwide, most and foremost a nomination for the short film Oscar and the Student Academy Award for „Best Foreign Film“ from the American Association of Motion Picture Arts and Science.
Over the past years Sin has created a variety of visually compelling films and commercials. With a strong emphasis on cinematic lighting, Sin focusses his work on documentary and commercial work.
